About Josefina Carrillo, Esq.
Josefina is an Immigration Attorney with over fifteen years of experience working in the law. She currently represents individual and corporate clients in all aspects of family, humanitarian, and employment-based immigration matters.

Prior to opening her own law practice, Josefina was a Managing Attorney at a full-service immigration law firm, was a Business Immigration Associate with the largest corporate immigration firm in the nation, directed a non-profit program providing immigration representation to indigent victims of crime, was court-appointed counsel to parents in juvenile dependency, was a volunteer prosecutor, and assisted in the entertainment litigation of Televisa v. Univision. Josefina has also conducted informational and training seminars throughout San Diego County on Adjustment of Status, U Visas, the Violence Against Women Act, and Naturalization applications, as well as other immigration issues.
Josefina attained a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Davis, King Hall School of Law, in 2006, and dual Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Spanish from Stanford University in 2003.
She is a member of the State Bar of California, and is fluent in Spanish.
